A residential weekend at The Pales in Mid-Wales for younger Ffriends 18 – 35.
23rd to 25th Sept. 2016
An opportunity to experience the atmosphere of this historic Meeting House and to be involved in planning for the future of this important part of our Quaker heritage. Set high on the hills overlooking beautiful Welsh countryside this location is the perfect base for exploration, both physically and spiritually.
Southern Marches Area Meeting is seeking guidance on how the Pales can be made self-sustaining through imaginative use of the amenities already available on the site and how those facilities can best be improved to encourage greater usage.
There is an area of level ground for camping and room in the Meeting House for camp beds and sleeping bags. There are toilet and shower facilities; Basic cooking facilities are also available.
